A short Visual Novel and RPG made for CSUI Individual Game Jam 2025.

You are Mitch, a normal college student who's just trying not to fall asleep in class again. As if the stress of college isn't already bad enough, you're now dealing with a daily routine of stomachaces and nightmares. Your doctor has emailed you about a new possible cure; you're really hoping he's on to something.

Diversifiers

• Shader: Implements simple shaders, mostly to add outlines to certain image textures and making character textures flash red when damage is taken.
• Better Call Saul: Mixes two types of games, Visual Novel and RPG.
• Dialogue: Integrated as a main mechanic of the game, as most of the story takes place in the Visual Novel portion

Controls:

• Enter/Left Click : Advance dialogue.
• Arrow keys & WASD: Player movement.
• Space/Left Click: Attack.
• ESC: Skip to the RPG portion of the game (only recommended for GameJam judges who might not have time to go through the entire story). 

Assets:

• Dialogue Manager Plugin by Nathan Hoad.
• Music, SFX, Fonts, and Backgrounds are from Envato Elements, taken and used with full license.
• Pixel Art assets by Me.
